We are so busy these days that we don’t always think about the small things that have happened in our lives that might actually be secretly holding us back.

Our daily behaviors usually come from both the positive & negative experiences that we’ve had in our lives.

But with those experiences comes the emotions that we might still be carrying that impact every decision we make.

Forgiveness is letting go of those emotions that you have towards yourself or others for something that has happened in your life.

Think back for a minute.

Is there something that you still think about that has no real connection to the present?

Do you have emotions towards someone, or even against yourself for something that happened?

Did you act in a way that you feel hurt another person emotionally or left the relationship in a bad place?

Most of us can come up with an example of one of these.

If you can come to terms with your feelings of regret and stop beating yourself up over situations you can’t control, you’ll finally make peace with yourself and set yourself free from the past.

Give yourself permission to be imperfect, remember that we are human and we are supposed to make mistakes.
