I was able to get up decently this morning and proudly weighed in at 189.2 (.2 down from last week) … i’m surprised that I am still losing weight despite the fact I have been eating like a pig. It concerns me a little, that along with the fact that I feel absolutely depleted today … I think i’m just tired, totally just tired out. I think getting up early so many days in a row has had its effect on me finally, and the lack of me eating properly is hurting me as well. An additional concern is that I had some pain under my right ribs yesterday morning, which I believe was just a gas pain … hopefully, but now my stomach is unsettled .. so my digestive tract seems all screwed up.

My plan I believe is to take tomorrow off from running .. and instead run on Friday when I am between jobs (since i’ll have the time anyway) .. I think tomorrow I will take advantage of things and sleep until almost 6am if I can, that should help me get my energy back. In addition, I have to find the source of my stomach discomfort and hope that the pain I felt yesterday isn’t anything more than just a gas episode. Again, it isn’t anything consistent and it has gone away …

So you can see what 16 weeks of brutal training can do to someone … I really think that the getting up between 4:30 and 5am everyday for weeks on end is what totally did it. Thankfully with my new job I won’t need to do that (I hope at least) … ugh, I just feel like crap.

Time to heal up, we’re less than 2 weeks away from the marathon and although i’m running well, I feel like total crap … it shouldn’t be this way. its time to focus again!
