I’m working hard to not get too far ahead of myself with preparations for my spring triathlon, so far i’ve narrowed down what I think my goal races might be for the spring. I’ve looked at a race called the Get Up and Move triathlon which is run not too far from where I live (about an hour). Its a newbie-friendly course, which is what I need.
I might also get into the Brandywine Dualthon which generally runs the last weekend of March, I figure it might be nice to get into doing two events together before doing three… we’ll see.
I’ve lined up a chiropractor who is an ultramarathoner and who is excited to help me with my goal, and he also has a nutritionist who plans to help me eat the right foods. The Human Performance Center will be my indoor gym for the winter, I just have to get the fees and everything squared away. They’e got treadmills, bikes and a pool along with weights, just what I need.
Thats about it for now … still about 8 weeks until the marathon season is over.
