Remember that New Years Resolution?

Not so long ago, the new year was upon us and the urge to change and grow both personally & professionally was all around.

Studies have shown that 92% of those who made resolutions are likely no longer on track.

Some hit their first small failure and gave up.

And others did not see the value from the effort that was being put in, so they lost motivation.

I know that in January, I saw a large number of new members at my gym & many new business owners at my networking groups.

But many have already stopped coming.

Why do we not succeed when we know we need to change?

Many times we take on goals that just aren’t realistic or thought out well enough.

We think we can go from doing nothing to doing all the right things.

Other times we make commitments based on other people’s expectations instead of the things that will make “me” happy.

So instead, shift your mindset and focus on your own internal needs & not what others expect of you.

Then set a goal that focuses on what is going to make you happy.

Next, be sure you reflect on and can answer the question “Why am I doing this?”

And finally, keep a journal so you can track your progress..

What have you accomplished so far in 2018?
