I spent some time the last few days away from my business.
This is something I always encourage business owners to do.
During this time, my grandchildren were visiting from out of town and we had not seen them in awhile.
And the time away helped me regain some perspective on both business and life. I spent time swinging on swings.
Sliding down slides.
Seeing fish in an aquarium.
Chasing seagulls at the beach.
And yes, I even visited Chuck E. Cheese.
I lived the last couple days seeing life through the eyes of a 6 and a 9 year old.
What did this time spent away from my business remind me of?
Don’t overthink things, the simplest way to solve a problem is usually the best way.
Keep exploring by asking questions, its the only way to learn.
Don’t be afraid to change the rules to make things better for everyone.
Never judge a book by its cover because the content is what counts.
But most importantly, hold hands and stick together.
How do you refresh your perspective on business and life?
What would you add?
