I had 2 decent workouts so far this week, despite the fact I am absolutely exhausted. I have however developed some pain in the top of my left foot, that seems to radiate over towards my ankle. I didn’t have any pain before during or after my run, it just kind of came on around lunch time. Its not killing me, and i don’t know how it will be to run on it, so I intend to continue to take it easy. Its different if I actually did something to it, which I didn’t. If it turns out that I have to take tomorrow off to rest my foot, then I will. I’m too close to the marathon now to cause major injury to myself and technically I am in my taper, so I can get away with it.
We’ll see how this plays out, i’m sure its nothing because there is no swelling, no bruising, no anything like that, so I think its just growing pains as they call them …….. i’ll report back with more!
