
Many times we underestimate the value of conflict in our businesses, careers & lives.
Imagine being in a relationship with someone who always agrees with every single thought you have.
😱 It might sound great at first, but the relationship would likely never evolve & grow.
The same thing would happen in our businesses if we don’t see conflict for what it is.
It’s likely we would go on a path where we do everything our own way, without the opinions of others.
The best solutions & opportunities in some of the organizations I’ve lead came from conflict during staff or planning meetings and conflict between team members.
By valuing each person’s opinion and considering the opportunity that it might bring up is the best way to lead change in your organization.
But all sides must be willing to open their minds to the possibilities and be constructive, or else it can start to tear your organization apart.
