I’m enjoying running a little easier and less the past few days and even looking forward to less days next week, although I do have a 5 mile race coming up on Sunday. My legs are actually not hurting me anymore (sore), its weird. Its also good to be able to eat a little more free, although i’m not eating like a pig, I think to myself that I have less than 3 weeks until training starts again, so enjoy it while I can. Even though today is a beautiful day for a run, i’m holding back, because I need the rest. I know there will be PLENTY of gorgeous days ahead to run on, and enjoy the time off while I can to recover.

I was able to get only 2 race pictures from the half-marathon, guess thats all they snapped of me. Regardless, they are nothing to jump up and down about, but they show the determination.

I’m working through getting over another slight cold I think, I just don’t think that my cold from early April ever really went away, suddenly my throat is scratchy again and I have a cough. I felt a little more stuffy than normal last night even …. its a good time to try and fight this though, in the recovery period ..

May 22nd ain’t that far away ….. I’m actually looking forward to it (i like the structure).
