I’m slowly making my way back into running through my rehab here, I got in a half hour on the cross country machine, at a pretty fast pace (6.0+), and then got on the treadmill to walk. I alternated doing a tenth of a mile to 2 tenths of a mile jogging at 5.5, then went back to walking, just to test my back. Good news is that I felt no pain at all, a little sore here and there, but no pain or anything to worry about. I’ll probably do the same thing tomorrow just to test things because i’d like to get outside maybe thursday and on the weekend since the weather is going to be so nice (and i’m looking to get the Sirius Stilleto 100 this weekend!!).
My back is not bothering me much anymore, still a bit sore, but it loosens up nicely while working out and once I get a heating pad on it. The important thing is that i’m feeling NO PAIN! I read back to last wednesday where I was very sad about my condition, but I think I took the time I needed to get better, and i’m almost there. We still have to take it easy, but I feel it coming.
