Since I was stuck inside today on the treadmill, I thought I would check into my Target Heart Rates and all and see where I am coming in. I always questioned my true ‘aerobic’ ability, but never really checked it. I found out that to get into the Aerobic and anaerobic zones, I need to be running almost an 8:15/mile … this might explain why I lost the pace in the marathon, I just have no real endurance. I think the training that I am going to undertake for the odmarathon and nj marathon will help rid me of that … I think also that I should buy a watch that allows me to track my heart-rate while running.
I’m concerned because the odmarathon website isn’t available right now …. I know they didn’t cancel it because its on marathonguide.com, but it still makes you wonder.
