Well, i’m proud to say that I inadvertently cut my first training run short. I was supposed to do 7 miles with 10x100m strides, and I only did 6.15 miles with the strides. I took one of my regular routes here from work, and added the strides throughout the course, and didn’t make up for cutting it short on the one side because of the extra laps at the end (or something like that). Either way, I screwed up, and will have to note it for the future. Oh well, these things happen.

I was sucking wind though doing this run, it was amazing how hard it was to just add something like strides to a normal hilly run (although it was quite cool out also, that could have contributed to the issues).

We’ll probably rest tomorrow instead of running, I should take advantage of having the extra days to relax while I can, it won’t be long and I’ll be at it 6-7 days a week. I have to enjoy this while I can (plus its a holiday week).
