Running with back pain

As to be expected, I headed out today for my 4 mile recovery run on Pfitz’s plan, and surprisingly, things went well. I have to say that I really beat myself up good in that race, I am having some left hamstring pain (not pulled), but very very sore, as well as pain in my right shin area (not shin-splints, in the muscle). The soreness really stood out! Regardless, I made it through without any issue, and my back isn’t bothering me all that bad. I will not do the Arthritis race tomorrow, just because with the shape i’m in, I will get injured, and to be honest, the course is real tough (I remember it from last year).

I’m not sure if I’ll do my 12 mile long run tomorrow, its going to depend on how I feel in the morning. I think I can make it, but it will depend. I know I probably shouldn’t be running through pain, but oh well, I did.
