I commented yesterday about the soreness is my back, it seems to have gone away for the most part, thankfully. I made up for yesterdays poor time (I keep harping on that) by completing 8 miles in 1:05, which is about an 8 minute mile, not too shabby.

According to the way I have my training laid out, tomorrow should be my 6 miler (oh god), followed by my 9 miler on Tuesday, then the race Wednesday and then 6 more on Thursday … that schedule sucks (sorry to say). We’ll see how we do, my legs are tired, i’ve got to watch what i’m doing and adjust accordingly, I don’t want to injure myself. I think being able to sleep in on Wednesday (no work), will be helpful in keeping myself from burning out.

I didn’t realize that I just completed a 48 mile week, wow, impressive. My body is feeling it, but this week i’ll break 50 miles … wow. Well, we have to make it there I guess. My max week in this training cycle is 62 miles. I hope I can do it, but that won’t be until late in August sometime hen its real hot. We’ll see how we do.
